The NiteRider MiNewt Mini-USB is the first bike light to feature a Li-ion battery capable of being charged from the USB port of your PC or wall outlet, providing the ultimate in charging flexibility. New for 2010 is a battery charging indicator. No more wondering if your battery is fully charged. This new feature will keep you updated with the charging status of your battery, switching from red to green when the battery is fully charged. Once charged, the MiNewt mini is capable of producing 3 hours of brilliant illumination.

The MiNewt Mini-USB utilises a glassfibre reinforced plastic casing that is tough as nails, yet as light as a feather. The light is captured and focused using a specially developed reflector and low-loss borofloat glass lens to ensure it produces over 110 lumens of bright usable light. The quick release battery case can be mounted out of the way under your stem and the system as a whole weighs a paltry 175 grams.
